MEMBERSHIP

Our primary purpose as an organization is to broaden the knowledge of, stimulate interest in, and aid in the preservation of glassware from the Depression Era, through educational  programs and lectures to our membership and the general  public. Membership is open to all persons interested in the purpose of this organization.
 
BENEFITS & ACTIVITIES
 
Benefits of your membership dues include a monthly newsletter, voting privileges at meetings, attendance at the dealer’s dinner and preview sale before the annual show, educational  programs, help with identification of glass, information about other shows and events, annual club picnic and holiday party, and lots of food, fellowship and fun at every meeting or event.
 
The club provides free use of their own research library, with over  200  books on glass, china, kitchen  and other collectibles. Anyone with a desire for more knowledge of glassware and other items produced during the depression years is encouraged to join our family oriented organization.
 
MEMBERSHIP DUES & RENEWAL
 
Individual memberships are $15.00 per year, and family memberships are only $25.00 per year. Any individual or family joining during or after the annual show in October and until the end of the calendar-year, will be a paid member through the following year. That’s up to 14 1/2 months of membership for the price of 12!
 
Member renewal dues are payable at or before the first annual meeting in January. At the conclusion of the March meeting, the membership  list will be purged of all non-paying members.
 
MEETING TIME & PLACE
 
Unless otherwise published, all meeting are held on the fourth Monday of each month. Refreshments are served at 7:00 p.m. and the regular meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
 
Meetings are held at the Northeast Florida Safety Council located at 1725 Art Museum Drive, Building B, Jacksonville, Florida, 32207 (one block south of Atlantic Boulevard on Art Museum Drive, near the south end of the Hart Bridge).
